Absolutely, I’m a total graph fan myself :-)
(I’m guessing we WIS would tend to like things presented well visually)
The FT article was originally post #58 here
The Beeb’s (#52) is also being updated, and worth a look
A scrollable table shows ‘a lot’ of info including the above
(Oops, tried to delete this version: my poor editing has included caption from prev graph in the original)
And there’s a quite scary totalizer, showing countries swapping ‘rankings’ with time

It's the final countdown! PM me before they're all gone!

I’m still doing the daily Covid symptom study that Kath first introduced me to here.

Great use of data and you are so right about watch peeps liking things to look good, hadn’t thought if that. I used some funky animated graphics when I did the first C-19 toolbox talks to my team back in March. Seems like an age ago. I did an updated one yesterday with better presentation software but less cool graphics. Although I do manage to sneak a Sankey diagram into my reports now and again

Cool, Alan! (and everyone else who’s signed up - it’s not too late :-)
Kings College London are starting a clinical trial of use of the app for diagnosis
They’ve already been feeding their numbers into the NHS’s daily stats, and by asking occasional supplementary questions, getting a clearer picture of groups particularly at risk, whether vitamin supplements help, etc

I’m proud to be doing something small to help our understanding of C-19

My sister had a stroke yesterday, and they rushed her to the best nearby hospital (at Harvard MA) and guess what? She tested positive for COVID19 (asymptomatic). This is yet another instance of someone getting a stroke in the presence of the virus. Although the evidence is still complicated as to the way SARS-CoV2 messes with the blood, I think it's likely that it caused her stroke, as she had no history of heart disease. I am waiting to hear news from my brother-in-law, but it seems she'll recover and will be starting speech and movement therapy to get some function back on her right side, but she also has to be in quarantine. You can imagine my mood today. Alas, I am 5000 km away, so there isn't much I can do.
Too many watches, not enough wrists.
