Pretty much the same that irks me, then
Generally I'll 'forgive' date windows in other positions IF (and only if) they read horizontally (9 through 3).
As for starting the thread: As per opening post, quite used to seeing date windows in bottom-right quadrant and was a bit baffled by the Presta; just wondered how many others had them in 'odd' positions. Turns out they're not that unusual.
