Quartz and sapphire and reliable and cheap: possible??

Okay, well this one nails the specs, but is a little pricier.

Or this Wenger has either sapphire or sapphire coated (depending on who you ask) crystal, 41mm, £85 on Amazon at the mo, but they do go cheaper sometimes.

Yeah but he's a normal person so he's not thinking "what can I carry off" the question will be simply along the lines of: no I don't want that much watch on my wrist
