    This was a fun, albeit incredibly tedious and time consuming strap to make.

    Actually, possibly. He died when I was young and I can't remember, but I Dad had the below gold Accurist for his 21st in the early 60s (also mine now) which he wore on a leather one piece strap...

    Seiko SNZH55 today on a Time Factors Nato (which means mismatched hardware, but I'm prepared to live with that as it's a great strap)
