After a grueling 3 month struggle my Cat has died

Our 12 year old cat has died, it was a 3 month struggle against a tumor. She died last night, I know she was in pain and it was more than time, for the past 3 weeks she had not been able to walk, so my wife and my daughter carried her in a little basket and kept her company. She slept in my daughters bed every single night for the past 6 years... we probably waited too long, I think. For the second time in a little less than a year our daughter asked me to glue a photo of a dead friend in her diary, it just breaks my heart.

So sorry Bola. We just went through that whole thing a month or so ago. Our guy was 16 and I know I went too long with him. Our new guy Mr, Oates is quite a bit smaller cat (still a kitten actually) and he weighs more than Sammy did at the end.

We have two more, one is 14 and the other is 12 as well, they were all strays so the ages are estimates, they found a good home in our place and lived a good life, so that is what matters in the end.

So sorry for your loss. When one gets to live with a pet for years they become so much more. Losing a beloved pet is not unlike losing a family member.

That's so sad, I'm really sorry for your loss. Our cat has a good few years in her yet (hopefully) but I really can't imagine the house without her.
