This today. Been sat in front of my PC all day drafting a strategy doc. Square eyes now and I need a cup of tea, so please excuse me...

I love that the second hand perfectly hits the markers too
A stealth joy :-)
All of this so true, Kath. And yes, perhaps tragic in a trainspotter sort of way!
Now of course I'm curious what about the background you recognize: 1) the fact that the photo dates back to 2010 from WUS era; 2) the fact that it's a LP cover to a 1980 era Jon Hassell album or 3) that it's a Mati Klarwein painting? I mean, let's face it, if we're gonna be trainspotters then we need to decide if we're more interested in the engine, the caboose, the station schedule or the track gauge!
Too many watches, not enough wrists.

This for me, though I'd probably refer to it as mid-eighties...

Since we have a couple of these on the thread today, I'll join in ...
Many watches have come and gone since acquiring this EMG, and I still think it an incredible bargain, perfectly sized and aesthetically interesting.
And the Iyonk strap certainly helps bring it all together.

I did a swap pretty early in the day when I realized I might need timing capabilities at work. Since acquiring the quartzTikis the T-Lord has lost it's spot as the tool chronograph, so I figured I should pull it out today. So, T-Lord on Iyonk rally.
