Scientists create 'cyborg' cockroaches to help in nuclear disasters

Just heard a report on this on the radio and it was fascinating and scary in equal measures. Basically scientists in Texas have successfully operated on cockroaches to add electronic devices that mean the bugs can be controlled remotely. They're looking at doing dragonflies next.

    Huh. Finally.

Years ago, when I was employed by Damocles Defence Industries (Peace Through War!), I wanted to move on a similar project.
I wanted to implant micro chips into panda bear brains.

The thought being, everybody loves a panda. They could amble into any town or city, then when the people come out to see, thinking "Oh! Look! A bunch of pandas. How cute!", the bears would tear off the people's heads, then **** down their necks.

They called me mad! Mad, I tell you!

They released me. They blackballed me in the entire defense industry. I even lost my pension.

Imagine. An army of panda bears.
    They would be unstoppable!
