It's nice to listen when people discuss about something they enjoy very much. Much better than my feeble small talk attempts regarding the weather.

Actually I very much like to hear about weather and life in Finland. Maybe we can talk about that a little more next time. I enjoy your photos you post, and I'm envious. We are thinking seriously about moving north for cooler weather and also on a lake.

Some of the topic shifts did cause me not to tell my best Ireland story. Maybe next time I can explain the relevance of picking a horse with a funny name and the luck of #17?

I don’t think we have a rota. It just depends on interest and what people are doing.

I was curious if anyone wanted to try it again. It had shrunk down to just the same handful of us - very interesting and friendly people, of course, but we might be getting a bit Zoomed out, do you think?
Too many watches, not enough wrists.

I would love to join in again, really enjoyed the one I took part in. My trouble is weekends (and most week nights tbh) are quite often booked up well in advance. Tonight for example I’ve promised my boy we can watch the Champions League final together.
