    Good day, IWL

Seven hands, two pushers, three crowns and an inner rotating bezel, courtesy of the crazy 70s.

    How about that?

... and all layed out perfectly with no 'interruptions' and all easily distinguishable.

Omega played with the shape and the colour of the hands, to make things more easy to read. It was supposed to be used essentially by pilots, therefore, the legibility was very important. Another point of interest is the blue 'GMT' independent hand: it was one of the first - if not the first? - watch combining a chronograph (based on the Speedy cal. 861) with a 12H 'GMT' complication; not a real 24H GMT, but still useful.

The crowns are colour coded, black for the bezel and blue for the GMT

while the pushers are yellow/red, because there was also a version with the chrono hands painted yellow.

Easy to read and easy to use.

Can I 'like' that again now that you've elaborated and added pictures ?

    No need, but thanks!

I added the pics, because I've seen too many flightmasters being sold with the wrong crowns and wrong pushers.

Another rainy cool day with the Fortis. Started a new puzzle last night, too.
