    Yesterday was my my oldest Diastar, the first one released, and today is my newest, commemorating the fiftieth anniversary of that auspicious day.

    I am regularly surprised at how strong the lume is.

    My current favorite chronograph. RGM nailed the design on this one. I can even overlook the lack of a running second hand as it would have spoiled the symmetry.

    I still like the U1, but I'm really glad I flipped it to get the 857. Really like it in the Sinn rubber as well as in this Di Modell Chronissimo strap.
