    Your Russian "grails"

So I was just wondering if you had any Russian "grail" watches.

    I have three.

Type 350 Amphibian with wire lugs

A vintage original dateless Blue Scuba Dude (I have only ever seen one)

    A vintage Strela.

I got really excited when I saw a wire lug on eBay today but it is a complete and total franken
Olma, Oris, Vostok, Casio, Smiths, Luch, Elgin, Fossil, Orient

    3133

but there are so many as with Russians grails. A lot of them are not to do with price but how they are like hen's teeth to find which you would make you think they would be expensive but it not because at one time the people who would sell them would not care if it had say a 3133 in it or a 2209 only a Russian lover would look at some and see the potential in some grime old thing with a yellowing dial but with a little help from a watchsmith they can suddenly become beautiful again.

one of the reasons I love Russians watches you can get a lot of watch for you buck
