  1. #1

Quote of the day from IWL !

Not a competition .....Just has to be quote of the day for you

Thought it might make for some funny posts , imagine if some aliens got a hold of the intlwatchleague forum database and ..... saw this (whatever this might be)

Find a post you find awesome/funny/outrageous/whatever and transfer it here .......

Here's your starter from a famous poster .... just made me giggle again when I revisited the thread it came from

Please stay on topic guys - this thread is about peanut butter.

So come on, have you got one you've seen recently?
Maybe I didn't make it clear, I meant quotes from here on IWL !

Ain't no use worrying about something you ain't got control over, 'cause if you ain't got control over it, ain't no use worrying about it. And ain't no use worrying about something you got control over, 'cause if you got control over it, ain't no use worrying about it.

Which leaves us with the question, was Ray being Ironic with a post stating the OP can't control the thread drift into "favorite quotations" as opposed to the intended "quote from IWL"? I'm going with the former...

I'll go with one of my own, from the "Thread Drift Thread" (seems appropriate). In response to a posting of a recipe for penguin, Homer Simpson saying...

ETA: And by the way, he did!

Even a broken watch shows correct time once or twice a day. I ought to know, I have a few!

To continue the thread drift, this sounds very similar to a famous old southern (US) saying: "When it don't rain, the roof don't leak. When it do rain, I cain't fix it no how."

    BACK ON TOPIC:

Please keep on topic - if you wish to discuss sausages then have the courtesy to the OP to start a new thread.
