    **** Help Wanted - Accurist Watch ****

    Well got an old Accurist watch have not worn in an age come to use it and well the crown stem tube as come out and it won't screw down looks like I need to remove the stem get the tube off the screw crown. replace the tube back in the casing then put it back together so your thinking great what's the problem hmmm can't seem to find the stem release catch.

    here a pic sorry best can do was in a bit of a rush.
    so any thought on where to poke or prod ?

    thanks have tried that pushed it pull it you name it is probable there but got to be a trick to it

    What about this hole?

    It seems to be in line with the stem, which is usually where I start looking. What movement is it? Citizen/Miyota? ETA or Ronda?

    not sure only got a Miyota mb 035 code tried that one too think I might see if I got a needle I was using a very small screwdriver that normal works as a stem removing tool

    ha ha victory got a needle on it it was above where crownpuller said the little hole it was the first I tried but did nothing got a darning needle on it out it came

    so ok then have managed to get the tube unscrewed from the crown look like over time and tightening it was being pulled out the case so have reinserted back in to case and made secure ( well I hope I made it secure ) have tried that works fine needs a 371 battery so can't get one till tomorrow used my last one the other day now the next problem the strap

    would you believe after try to fit it for like an hour gave up and on closer look the one side of the strap the link is all wrong on it's shape wise so somehow the last link on the one side has come away might have it hope it is in the bottom of the strap box will have to check have put it on a canvas strap but not sure about it as it has the bulge in the middle of the case will do pics in the morning well maybe afternoon
