Indeed, the immediate post war Seiko always seem to wear well - the posher ones used all gold kit. There was an Israeli dealer a while back who seemed to have an endless supply of them and no respect for them. I kept snaffling them like sweeties. I'll let you know if they pop up again...

    Ok, won it:

It's the one on the left for a smidge under £15. I'm going top e mysterious about the front, but just look at the back! Any offers on the watch, the make or E.M.

Thanks, but: Steady on, I don't hear any plus-size lady singing just yet. ISMY's Timex Q looks mint, plus he reckons he might have 'something up his sleeve'; and I'm dying to see how the GP turns out, to name but two. Still a few weeks left in the hunt, yet.

No, I wasn't after it. I just noticed that it was the same movement with chronometer on the front which I thought would amuse you. It's the one with the caseback above that I was after.

The crown made me think of Hamilton, but that's just a stab in the dark.

I've found it! Without the logo I guess I can call it a Rado or an Exacto but I guess it's really a Schlup.

    Rolex? ... Schlup ... Beautiful.

How did that brand name not catch on?

But of course, that would mean that it's rocking basically the same bloody Schild as Crownpuller's
