    Wind-Up, or not as the case may be.

    So, yesterday a lady at work says she has "an old wind up watch that doesn't work any more" and would I have a look at it for her ?
    Certainly, I say; and to get to the point - I think I've found the root cause:

    I've seen a fair few broken mainsprings before, but this is a first; no less than 7 breaks

    I figured an impact of some sort, but there's no damage to the watch case and not a mark on the brass housing it was in
