Really hooked on the intensity of "An Honorable Woman" with Maggie Gillenhall on Sundance. An 8-parter well worth searching for.
Homeland
Game of Thrones
Orphan Black
Orange is the New Black
I understand there's another season coming of "Luther" with Idris Elba
Just started the series TransParent with Jeffrey Tambor, on Amazon Prime. Pretty interesting stuff.
Black-ish, with Anthony Anderson looks promising
Anything Inspector Morse related.
For comic relief: I still enjoy The Big Bang Theory

I have Luther in my Netflix queue but haven't gotten to it yet. Can you convince me to bump it up the list?

I'm in the same boat. I've been told it's awesome and somewhat disturbing, but I haven't gotten the time or energy to start a new series.
I might try out The Wire at the end of the semester. Everyone says it's so amazing, but I have my doubts.

Everyone keeps saying that. I got it a lot whenever I'd talk about how much I liked The Shield. I always got "The Wire is so much better than The Shield". And I'm there like "Thanks, I don't remember making that comparison, but everyone's got a butt, so shove your own face in yours and then tell me your opinion (or however the saying goes)", so I've had a bit of a mental block about trying it for years. I mean, the people who tell me The Wire is amazing are often the same people who told me The Sopranos was amazing, and that is just a bald-faced lie.

I never saw The Sopranos so I won't tell you it's amazing, I promise.

Well. "Idris Elba" would have been enough incentive for my wife. It is dark and disturbing, and my wife would keep a pillow nearby so she could hold it in front of her eyes when things got violent (she's a delicate flower), but it's pretty absorbing.

I just remembered--I think I can stream it. No excuse not to check it out.

The Wire in in my queue for when I feel like a binge. But like Raza, no energy for it at the moment.

Yup. Last I checked, it's on Netflix still.
