The Sea Hawk has (finally) landed!

I acquired a 1960s Girard Perregaux Sea Hawk about two months ago, and various calamities (service, lack of 16mm strap, broken 16mm spring bar) prevented me from wearing it. Until today when I received 16mm spring bars and I can now FINALLY wear it. At 33mm it ties with the American-made Hamilton for the smallest watch I own, but this just makes it tiny and perfect in its vintagey ways. So, on with the pictures!

Cool watch, strap is a nice compliment.
    Book needs a service too.

The copy of that book is in, like, eight different pieces. It's well read.

It's a cream dial. Thanks, I'm liking it, too.

It's the vintage appeal. Not easy to resist...

GP had beautiful watches and still does. Enjoy!
