Get your Diastars while you can still afford them

Hodinkee has the Rado Diastar as the latest Value Proposition.

I wonder how much of a Hodinkee bump they will get (if any). I believe they are single handedly responsible for the Universal Geneve Nina Rindt going from a $5000 watch to a $20,000+ watch . Although I'm sure the Daytonaesque looks had a lot to do with it.

I also heard about the Nina Rindt bump so it will be interesting to see.
I'm a little caught, though, as I want my collection to increase in value while still being able to acquire genuine bargains...

Just as long as Ashford keeps blowing them out for less than $500, I am alright with whatever happens.

I've often been tempted by that diver but $60 shipping and customs charges keep me away.

This LE cost me less than $500 including shipping and it included a set of LE cufflinks.

I also got a women's New Original for my wife for under $500.

Last week the white dialed New Original XL was $470
