Thought I do a little review/show & tell of the JR, since IWL has been flooded w/ new arrivals from Ashford.
Well not so much a review, but my thoughts after a couple days of wear & now that my life has settled down a little.

    It was bomb proof packaged

    Nice box

    What's inside you ask?

    Bronze Dialed Terrascope

Nice crown ,but Damn look @ those tiny lugs

Backside has a nice engraved & raised logo

I own a ton of automatics & I can't feel the rotor on this one which is different but nice.
It's keeping great time after 3 day of constant wear.

All in all I'm a happy camper. The dial plays tricks depending on the lighting

    Love the idicies

Incl. some pprwrk & momentos from Ashford.

I've been stalking this piece for some time now &
I was a little hesitant to order from a "grey market dealer" but my fears have been squashed after arrival & wearing.

A big THANKS mikeylacroix for posting this deal & to IWL for again teaching me something new & for opening my mind up & broadening my horizons.

That bronze dial is lovely! I had high hopes for the dial and finishing based on photos I had seen, and the watch certainly lives up to those expectations and more in person.

Those colors and indices give it a nice retro '70s vibe, but with a very modern big size. Too big for my tastes, but it looks like it fits you perfectly.
Too many watches, not enough wrists.

Here's what I meant by '70s vibe... color and markers remind me of my old Bucherer, but with the added Gerald Genta bezel...

Great color choice. I hear the straps are very nice.

I have read reviews that were perhaps critical of numer of variations being too great but for me they have produced a solid basic case and then some really lovely dials. I fail to see the problem for us as a consumer, perhaps tricky if you are buying stock for a shop.

Anyway back to you William. There is something in the dial appearance that looks great on you. Did you see this in person beforehand because I feel the pictures Ashford used really didn't show the dials in the best way.

I picked mine based on pictures I saw elsewhere.

One of the best JR's in my opinion. I just love the dial color and strap combo.
    Cheers,
