Thread: A funkier brother for my Attesa?

Question A funkier brother for my Attesa?

    So, my Attesa:

(pic stolen, though, because why not)

The idea is for me to have something more cheerful to choose from, for example when I need to quickly grab a watch when going for a trip etc.

I looked at a zillion white watches (mostly Eco-Drives, but not only), but where I'm hitting the wall basically every time is that the dials are what I'd call polar or snow white -- they all seem to have a cold hue, and I don't want that. Like, even this twin model:

If white, I'd like a warmer hue, going towards cream or champagne. Plus I'll be happy to see more funky colours if you find any.

    Must-haves:
    - solar-powered
    - 38-40mm dia
    - analogue, but can look at ana-digis, too
    - light-coloured dial (may be multi-colour, drawings etc)
    - no gold accents
    - no plexi glass

    Nice-haves:
    - 2nd time zone or world time
    - lume
    - standard lugs
    - sapphire
    - radio-controlled

Let's set the price cap at around €500, although, ideally, I wouldn't like to spend more than €350.

I was thinking about the Oceanus but they may be a bit larger than you'd like at 41.5mm.

I looked at a few but can't remember this particular one, I might have ignored it due to the size. TBH, I wouldn't mind trying it on, but it's rather unrealistic here in Europe, I think.

    Not perfect, we keep looking!
It's 40mm, doesn't wear large, at least the black one.

I meant Oyster Perpetual... Have you seen the white? It's warmish and not pure white.

Yeps, too big, unfortunately. I looked another nice 'panda' from Citizen earlier today, but it still was 43mm.

There is a smaller Casio LIW-M610 in white but it's the "polar white" unfortunately.
    Cheers, Sedi
