    Hey Bu11it!

I owe you two reviews, but at the moment I'm in a NYC wine shop sweating in the NYC summer....in this city for 6 weeks...buying 3 expert recommended wines from this place:

    Here's the inside:

Tasted 3...found the middle one flat (other's would say "one dimensional")

    Jumped in feet-first with these:

Nice conversations...Learned with relief these wines will keep for days and that all Burgundies are Pinot Noir (or maybe the other way around).

Let me know if you've heard of them.

Anything that went wrong in this post I'll correct back in the room.

    Solution for you:

Too many watches, not enough wrists.

You made a good choice of wines to buy.

    Meursault is a fantastic wine.

So after spending all afternoon working in the yard, I sit down to relax on the back porch with a glass of a Cali Rhone blend (that I opened Wednesday night drank half of and recorcked. Wednesday it was uninspiring but tonight it's downright divine).

So I open up IWL and head over to the members lounge. Lo and behold there's a thread with my name on it, shocked... nay... intrigued I was.

I must say I was pleasantly surprised with the content. Nothing like a good wine thread to excite the juices... grape juices of course...

Anyway, that sure looks like a great way to spend an afternoon. I'm frankly very weak on Burgundy, don't have to time (or frankly money) to really get into it. I will one day explore it but I'm happy right now with exploring what Cali has to offer. Having said all that I'm not familiar with those bottles. Looking forward to what you think.

And yes, red Burgundy is pinot noir, but not all pinot is Burgundy...
