Stowa Design Contest - Please Vote!

Stowa, one of my favorite German brands, is holding a design contest to design a limited edition watch. There are a lot of great entries in the contest, but a lot of terrible designs, too. Unfortunately, the voting has turned into a popularity contest rather than a design contest, so many of the best designs are getting buried under "friend" votes.

There are some seriously good designs there, but it's hard to vote when there are so many choices.

yes the good ones seem to get lost in the crowd a bit

One of them looks almost direct copy of Russian Radio Room watch.

What had been seen...! Most of those are fugly! Voted for a few nice ones. The current front runner is a joke.

There are some designs there that seem to suggest that the designers know nothing about the Stowa design ethic. Also, a few nice ones.

I really think they would have benefitted from a screening process before the voting. Just too many designs and many of them really awful. You have to scroll through a lot to find the few nice ones.
