This is a very tough one to narrow down, Phil. Let me think about it for a bit and I'll be back.

Mine is my daily wearer, the Planet Ocean (2500), but I could easily be tempted with a submariner (of any era) or sea dweller. There's something about the PO that draws me in every time. I think it's the broad arrow style hands. I love catching them in just the right light, and every time I do, I wish I could take a pic with my eyes, because it's very hard to capture it with a camera.

lost in translation
The 5513 of Mr Tempocalypse fit the bill perfectly for me:
-simple H-M-S that's all
-not too big
-sturdy
-excellent readability IMHO
The problem the watch is difficult to find & very expensive
My personnal suggestion :
-In house movement
-bigger case dimensions
-date complication

The Omega PO is an really nice watch.
Sporty and dressy at the same time.

The MM300 is an iconic dive watch fore sure.
It's hard to beat that one.
Love to wear mine.

I have at least a few that I think could fit in this category, but think my personal fave is the Aquadive BS500 Fleurier. Best of both vintage and modern worlds. Ben and crew are so careful to update with modern materials and technology while staying more true to their roots than anyone else out there. So this is my pick.
