And I'm listening to him via some quite extraodinary diecast cabinet australian 'Event Opal' powered cab speakers... that retail for €1800
EACH !!!

I confess that I’ve yet to be impressed by a Bose speaker. The music sounds processed to me, as if the highs and lows have been pressed into the middle. A lot of music happens in the middle, so the effect can be rich and listenable, but scale and accuracy is missing to my ears.
I haven’t heard their large and fuller range speakers.
