Ah, Rory. I saw him once, in the early 70s. A terrific player.

Sorry just found your reply. This is not a thread I visit that much and it took me a while to figure out where I posted. Vacation or looking to settle here? You were/are not too far from me. Are you still here?

Just one week family holiday there, already back in cold Finland. -6 Celsius feels now terrible after a week of +27 in Miami.

Having a lazy evening with a few cold ones working my way through a Talking Heads playlist on YouTube with the cans on:

I'll never forget the first time I heard this track; this introduced me to them. Jeez, that was 40 years ago.

But Beautiful is right, even if I am giving it the perfect setting of lounging around in our Kraków apartment after a good dinner and a bottle of wine. The vibraphone is resonating nicely around the four walls and high ceiling.

Why don’t I own more than two Joe Locke records? I’ve just ordered another two.

I know right where you are. If you took 706 east to Jupiter you would have been about 4 blocks from one of the best open air restaurants on the coast.
Dune Dog is on A1A just north of the 796/A1A intersection.

Not only the best dogs dogs in South Florida, they also serve full meals. Fish, lobster, burgers, everything. They also have a great beer selection and real homemade milkshakes! The best!
    A great beach hut experience.
