    I had this idea the other day to fly to Brazil and walk those streets on a whim but then I read about the crime in Salvador.

    Well, it involves only one song. I am a big history fan and Rasputin certainly created some history. When I heard this song, I said no way! But it's actually accurate. The story line that is.

    Sublime. He sounded like a cross between Miles Davis and Chet Baker, and this record from 1955 was the only one he made.

    He was almost permanently stoned, by all accounts, and it’s a near-miracle that he recorded anything, let alone something as good as this. He had a short life, which surprised no-one.
