Very cool songs. I especially like that Sleater Kinney. I always think of them when driving on the I-5 freeway through Olympia Washington, where they went to school at Evergreen State College. The exit to Evergreen is called Sleater Kinney, which is how they chose their name. I made that drive one more time last Tuesday in fact, 14 hours straight from Seattle to the south of San Francisco bay area, over 800 miles. It gets harder every time.
Too many watches, not enough wrists.

After reading (well, listening to) Carrie's memoir, I feel like I've been to the US North West.
Several days ago I snatched all the SK albums to dig into it more and also not just stand sheepishly when I see them in Berlin in Feb 2020. (And as Carrie said, good luck singing along with Corin).

And Portlandia makes so much sense when I know where she was coming from, not only geographically.

I haven't really listed to Sleater Kinney much, but what I have heard I really like. I also have a little crush on Carie, mostly because she is so damn funny.
