I listened to an 80s playlist from Spotify the other night. It was recommended to me as I had been listening to the Go-Go's. I must admit the 80s had better music than I gave the decade credit for. My wife came home from work and we sat by the fire pit listening to music from our middle and high school days, filling each other in on our younger selves from a time before we met. Reminiscing and reflecting can be fun.

Honestly, never heard a song of theirs, not even while working in the record store back then. We regarded them as far too pop for our sensibilities.

I did see the Tubes on the Bowie/Gabriel/Tubes tour.

Well, that was a wasted joke, then. 'Oblivious' is the title of one of their singles.
IMO - You've not missed much, they were 'a bit safe'; though this is worth a mention...
