    Never managed to see Roger Daltrey, but spotted Wilko Johnson in a Seven Sisters pub in London in 1995 and later in my home town in 2014.

    He's mental.

    Wilko Johnson is kind of wonderful. You’d never suspect that he has a degree in English Literature and an interest in Beowulf and Norse sagas. I never saw Dr Feelgood, but had a couple of their records.

    I saw The Who in 1974, and I knew the bloke who looked after Daltrey’s cows.
