    Even at 13, I knew that the premise of “Mod Squad” was ridiculous — not to mention many of the plots and the dialog. Still, I was glued to the TV in the show’s early years and Williams was one of the major reasons.

    Yeah, well, Linc was ultra cool, but I was glued to the screen for Peggy Lipton.
