    An incoming that ticks

    And no, it's not a quartz.

    It's a Habring2 Jumping Seconds.
    Interestingly enough, its a one-of-a-kind custom model with an enamel dial, applied markers and a lovely blued seconds hand originally designed by one of the moderators over at PuristPro. And at 36mm, it'll be a good fit for my skinny wrists.

    I'll write up more when it arrives tomorrow.

    I didn't know it was his watch until I purchased it and then a bit of google-fu led me to the original post.

    He does takes great photos though!

    What a beautifully balanced clean dial design. So, I am to understand that the seconds hands clicks once per second like a quartz? I wonder, does this also create a longer power reserve, as the same design saves batteries on a quartz movement?
    Too many watches, not enough wrists.
