Yes, it's the original bezel. I bought this watch off a Canadian forum, refinished the case and cleaned up the bezel as best as possible without removing any resin. This is kind-of my "show" DW-1000, and I wear in very carefully and sparingly.

On the right is my original DW-1000, which I bought new in 1984 or 85.

I have no idea how, but I somehow "lost" the bezel at least 20 years ago. I thought I'd broken it and threw it away, but a couple of years ago I found it, intact and in pretty good condition, in the bottom of a junk/parts drawer in my watch bench.

So I have it stored safely away and still have plans to have it copied and get a few extras 3D printed. Kind of low on my priority list right now, but some day...

Edit: I also have a third DW-1000, missing bezel, but working perfectly. I'm keeping that one for spare parts: module, buttons, bezel screws, case etc.

Post Covid, you'll need to make a stop in Chicago, Geoff..

    P.S. @Samanator, I've got that hat, too.

Michael sold this to me at cost where he could have sold this for 4k profit sooo.... I owe him BIG time.
You need a picture of the green GS GMT. I think that was your favorite from what I brought. I guess the Longines Ceramic Hydroconquest was your least favorite.

Actually my favourite was the Seiko 60s diver reissue. And the exp2 polar on the rubber - it looked wicked. And the oris.
