    Talking Another SE from Meranom

Well look what arrived today from the motherland, yet another se vostok from Meranom. This time a 420 cased auto with a 2415 31 jewelled movement. The case is stainless and measures 39 mm without the crown, which I believe is the new type. When I say that I mean it still has the wobble when winding or adjusting but I think is a one piece with no worn edges just sharp ones. The bezel is the normal friction type from Vostok (Boctok) but nice and thin, and mine is just stiff enough to stay put. The strap which is an 18 mm leather is quiet a step up from the normal straps you get and is ample length for my 7 1/4 “ wrist . Having no date it’s a just and put on anytime piece and should be ok in the rain as its 200m water resistant. On the back is the familiar scuba diver logo. Personally I really like the mix of black gold and copper on the dial, which drew me to it. The lume as all vostoks have is not the best, I think it’s an improvement but it’s no monster. All in all I’m very pleased , dealing with Meranom is easy and reliable and nearly always takes 2 weeks to get here in the UK .This is the 4th se I have got and I’m always happy with them . I know they are a little pricier than the std Amphibians but that’s all part of life’s rich tapestry and your only here once. Thanks for reading. DW.

It's a stunner, for sure! The colour palate works well, the mix of metals with black! Do I even have to tell you to enjoy it?

I'm going to have to break down and buy an SE someday soon.
