On the way back home we had 26 hour layover in Reykjavik. During my search for tourist attractions I found out about a small watch shop there--home to JS Watch co. Reykjavik.

My wife was kicking and screaming, but finally I was able to drag her into the store. We were greeted by an older gentleman and shown different watches from the collection. Later we found our that he was company's co-owner and master watchmaker.

What I really liked was the fact that he gave us undivided attention for close to an hour, even though we never said we would buy any of the watches.

We also found out that he was a very skilled salesman, as he was able to convince my wife that I really needed one of his watches.

I chose model 101 with black dial. Very classy looking, and somewhat departure from my collection of tool watches.

My pictures don't do justice to this watch.

The pics will come later as I'm having some difficulties downloading them.
