My first Squale
Just quick camera phone pics. As much as I appreciate the legibility of a 45mm+ watch, this is more appropriate for my wrist. I cannot stand rubber straps with the wavy whatever you call it in them so a black Isofrane is coming. Other than that issue the strap is comfortable and I like the signed buckle. Very legible dial, unique bead blasted case finish, not overly tall on the wrist (I DO NOT like thick watches), Only one knock for now .. the pip on the bezel does not stop properly on the minute/hour marks, and the bezel 3:00 mark is WAY OFF.

The 15min hash mark is way below the 3 o"clock poistion but the 45min/9 o'clock mark is mostly okay. The stencil seems to be out of proportion. I have e-mailed customer service.

Hey,
big congrats !
Looks really nice. Especially with the blasted finish.
A Isofrane would work perfect.
But the bezel problem is a no go.
That must be fixed from Squale.

I e-mailed customer service and sent 4 photos. They are willing to exchange the watch.
But the problem may be a little bigger than I first thought. When the pip is held aligned with 12, the 15 min and the 45 min hash marks on the bezel are both below the 3o’clock and 9 o’clock position as if they droop. It is as if the movement is mounted too high inside the case. I asked that they inspect any replacement they intend to use. My concern is that every one they have in stock is this way and I don't want to go through this multiple times.

A replacement watch and return label are already incoming. They agreed to inspect one for the same issue before sending it. If #2 is good I'll be a happy camper because I like this watch.
