    The Russian Chat Thread

well like to start this thread to provide a place for general discussion and questions about all watch things Russian.

    Some initial ideas for conversation:

What do you like about Russian watches?

What direction would you like to see Russian watchmaking go?

What comes to mind when you think about Russian watchmaking?

I was just saying the other day how sometimes with Russian watches how you have an image of say a 3017 but when you see them they are not what you expect you see thing you did not realize they had or do but then some times you realize that even if you love them they might just not wear right has this ever happen to you and if so what one was it

Anyone seen Man From U.N.C.L.E. yet?

A Pobeda plays a fairly large role in the movie.

To be honest, I have never seen the original.

I enjoyed the movie but I can't compare it to the original.

Hope Raketa see the light and lower their prices, a lot.
Could be a very good selling aid as such a classic timeless (?) piece. Indeed they do have some very nice models ( yes, and watches too )

Yeah the Atom is such a good looking piece but the price they want for a new one is a bit insane.
