Don't you think these are quite good looking....

Dropped by the Tag's boutique during lunch time, and found these two interesting...

Size 41mm, Boutique only edition, with no display back

Calibre 18 (there was an article on this piece some 2-3 weeks back A Blog to Watch)

Slightly smaller at 39mm, and this comes with a display back, though nothing too impressive to look at...

    Side by side for comparison

Not cheap though, MSRP above US$5k.

But they are nicely made, and I especially like the calibre 18 piece.

I like the vintage vibe. I guess they use the Heuer logo to attract the WIS

Nice find. The blue sub dials look great. Although, $5k USD is a bit much for me to buy one.

The Heuer logo is working on me. Never been a fan of the TAG on the dial.

Very nice. I'm sure you can get a decent discount off MSRP - you usually can with TAG.

Nice. I particularly like the boutique-only one, with the red accents.

Agree totally. I think there are certainly options given the price that are asking.

It has a silvery sun-burst dial, and depending on the angle and the lighting, it does give off a different look. But not golden for sure.

Yup. Her initial response was No. But after some chatting, putting both on the wrist, admiring, she said she could try asking if I was really keen. I wasn't ready.....so I didn't pursue.
