Favorite German brand less than $5k

Many great choices, set the $5k ceiling to keep this from becoming a Lange thread lol

I will reserve my opinion until some responses file in, so as to not lead the witnesses

So far I have owned Sinn, Tutima, Muhle, Nivrel, Schaumburg, and Archimede

Looking forward to the discussion to learn what I should try next!

Respectable choices! I have never owned any of the 3. If someone had to choose 1 to add, which would you recommend?

I've only owned dievas and nomos. I loved my nomos - great product brand, and superb value. The dievas was cool, but I don't do huge dive watches any more... But if you like that kinda thing then why not.

You can try out DAMASKO watches.

I own a few of them. These watches are top notch and not comparable because of Damaskos own technologies.

Now DAMASKO has there own manufactur movement.

You can also try CIRCULA, Laco, Limes or Mühle Glashütte for example.

Too bad, best looking chrono in their lineup IMO. Wonder why that and DA36 are discontinued.

I just got a Nomos Metro midnight blue dial and I'm absolutely in love with it! I never spent so much on a watch before but it definitely "feels" so much "smoother" than my other watches. It's hard to describe but I get this elevated feeling just by putting it on! Oh well, I guess that's why we're watch enthusiasts!
