    Seiko Recraft SNKM97

    Just arrived the Seiko Recraft.

    Green dial with gold indicies.
    Day Date function
    43.5 mm wide
    11.5 mm thick
    24 mm lugs

This has the 7s26 movement which is an old seiko workhorse so no handwinding and no hacking but I found it simple to set with a little anti clockwise flick of the crown to bump the seconds hand back.

    21600 bpm
    Hardlex front and back
NO lume and WR 50m - no screw down crown.

The green face is very nice for this price range and changes as the sunlight hits it.
The bracelet is what you would expect from Seiko at the price but I have a few 24 mm straps including this green fabric.

Polished between the lugs so works well with a strap.

    Overall at a MSRP of $235 (I paid $168)
it is a nice piece. Sits comfortably and light on the wrist.

First time I see this model. There's a 70s vibe to it that I find rather cool.

    Enjoy your new watch, Mark!

I do like that, especially at the price. I didn't realise it was quite so big, though.

I agree. I think Seiko did a great job with the retro design. Congrats, Mark....that's a beaut!

The top of the case is brushed and the lugs polished as they curve away so off the bracelet it does wear quite square - but not small.

I do realize that by putting a Breitling strap on it I have about doubled the cost - but I think it suits it and it was sitting in the drawer.

The pins on the bracelet were very stiff so will get a pro to size the bracelet for me.

Look's really good with the fabric strap combo! Congrats Mark!
