    Zodiac Astrographic

Originally produced in 1969, this watch has been re-released and looks super funky.
What do you guys think of the 'floating' hands and overall look?

I think mystery dial watches are cool, and I'm glad to see Zodiac doing more automatic watches instead of all the quartzes they were doing for so long. I like me a little funk.

I have a very specific childhood memory of seeing some really cool psychedelic geometric pulsating dial watches back in the '70s. I wonder what happened to those. Makes me want to go do an image search now. They usually had a sort of star motif, with a bit of a moiré thing going on. Hmmm...
Too many watches, not enough wrists.

Hah! I found them - Ernest Borel Cocktail Watch. Another moment in time, for sure.

I guess that looked pretty cool in the 70's.

Especially to 12 year old kid interested in watches. I remember seeing these in jewelry store windows and thought they were the bees knees.

To be honest, I'd wear them now if they weren't gp.

Oh yes, that is pretty special.
I haven't been tempted by another brand like this for quite some time...

Yup... I was trying to find a photo anywhere on the interwebs of a SS or chrome version, and apparently that just did not happen.
