And where are you, R? Ah, glad you asked, I'm where they apparently have the largest rolling ball clock in Poland:

    Keeping a good time, too:

And by the way, I'm wearing my travel watch:

I changed the battery in my Timex Expedition but it gave me a bad rash when I wore it two days ago, not sure why.

Anyhoo, had great paszteciki szczecińskie in front of that ball clock:

    Repeat after me: parsh-te-tchiki sh-tche-tchinske.

Yes, that drink is hot borscht, under that sun, I couldn't resist and the meal wouldn't be complete without it.

Repeat after me: Paszteciki szczecińskie z barszczem w Szczecinie. (BTW, saying Stettin is cheating).

I had them at Orzeł Biały Square (I'm tempted to say plaza, but I think for Brits it's still a square) with, as the name suggests , the White Eagle Fountain.

(where someone was flying a drone, btw).

A few more pics from my home city in the next post.

Solidarity Sq, the thing on the pavement is the V sign, and in the far right there's the Victims of 1970 Memorial, aka the Angel of Freedom:

Chrobry's Embankments (edit: OK, it's more like a view from Chrobry's embankments)

Something a Rado Captain Cook isn't a complete purchase without.
