Hacking - A novelty noone really needs?

Do you actually need such accuracy when setting your watch?

    I'm with the OP **

It doesn't really bother me if it has it or not.
Although I endeavour to match the minute hand to where the seconds are pretty well.

Yeah... do you really need a watch either...??
I have found that some people just like to hear themselves typing.

I want my watch to run a tick fast when on the wrist (running dead on is too close to becoming slow). When it has gained enough to bother me i pop out the crown and wait for time to catch up. Easy, and far easier than correcting a slow watch, at least until it reaches a full minute off.

I used to obsess over having hacking capability in my mechanical watches, but not any longer. It's a nice feature to have to check a watch's accuracy when new, but not necessary at all, for me.

Hacking is great for quickly measuring the time accuracy of your watch. Other than that, I don't really care.
