    Transforming the place into Christmas with the bride, and she is a nuts about this holiday. No fewer than a dozen big boxes of items out of storage and 9 of them were emptied by 8AM.

    Perhaps a suede would work too. Not black , no ....

    It depends what character you want. I want ‘sober’, with a strap that is hardly noticed, and that’s the way it comes. It’s a ‘golden age’ watch in terms of style, and I wouldn’t do anything to disrupt that.

    I’ll satisfy my curiosity with a brown strap, but I’d happily leave it untouched forever.

    Try one if you can, I really dig it. The aesthetics, specs, and JLC 8 year warranty, make it a nice package.

    I like the sober black, but these are good casual looks, too (as well as the brown you originally posted).

    There are, but casual and contemporary is exactly what I don’t want. I want it more Patek than Nomos.

    On black, and without close examination, it looks like a watch that could have been inherited, and that’s the vibe I like. It’s a Japanese Calatrava, after all.

    @geoffbot

    Here's but a wee bit of the holiday decorations. The bride replaces all of the dishes, glasses, throw pillows - and even all of the linens, all in one morning.
