**** Well movie night is here (06/09/15) ****

Well tonight movie of choice is the 1935 version of the 39 steps staring Robert Donat and Madeleine Carroll some say this is the best it was the first I do believe. But I personnel think the 1959 version with kenneth more and taina elg is my favourite (it also had a walk on well drive on in this case by one of the carry on actors ) and the 1978 robert powell version as the worse as it was just changed about to much if I remember right but I wonder what version is your favourite so here it is the 39 steps hope you enjoy

I read the book not so long ago. Certainly has dated. Well, it is 100 years old, after all. Whatever you do, don't watch the Rupert Penry-Jones version that was made for television a few years ago. Awful.
I have a soft spot for the Robert Donat/Hitchcock version.
