Tool watches can be divided into three basic categories ?

Well saw that title in one of the feeds well it fully said "Tool watches can be divided into three basic categories (dive watches, field watches and pilot’s watches),"

do you agree with this statement or not ? for me don't think it can be that simple ?

Maybe digital and ana-dig watches need their own category. Many G-Shocks, for example DW-5600, DW-6900, etc., don't fit neatly into the suggested categories, but they are certainly tool watches.

Agree with the above comments. Fitness watches and trekking watches need to be in there somewhere too.

Nope, it sounds like an excerpt from a blog for dummies by dummies trying to appear knowledgeable.

A simple watch more rugged than most, and designed for everyday use. Also, a similar or other watch with a prominent practical function other than basic time-keeping.
