We call that the octopus dial

There is an even rarer version of it. I've seen three examples of a rust coloured dial in a gold case.

    Great work Slade!

My week was pretty scattered and unfocused, but it did start and end with Rados.

Thursday the RGM/EoT Model 22. Roland is apparently making these, and all the other old EoT watches again but they are all doubloe the price. Glad I got mine when he was blowing out the original edition.

Thursday night the new Nienaber came out to play and stayed on until well into Friday.

A fine week but the Capta In has pipped the others to the post.

It's the vintage bracelet that pushes it over the top.

Well, the Sapphire Horse may not be as rare as the grooved Balboa but I reckon the green dial is, it's certainly the only one I've ever seen, it's quite possible that nobody wanted to buy one, maybe that's why.

Vintage elctro space funk does it for me this week.

Cheers Tim! It doesn't seem to have been popular at the time as the Space Flight's do not pop up often. I wonder if it is because the dial was grey and therefore seemed a bit bland compared to so many other Rado offerings at the time.

How many watches do you own these days?
I have no idea, really...let me check the spreadsheet...

Excel tells me I have 66 watches, but that includes some non-runners, a clock or two, several pocket watches and a couple timers.
Also, there are likely 1 or 2 not on the list. Looks like about 15 are Rados; pretty much all chronometers, Diastars and Manhattans.

That's more than I expected given the limited rotation.
Time to get some out to show off mate.

I'm very glad I'm not the only one with a spreadsheet to keep track
