Thread: Round Date Windows

    Round Date Windows

I've no idea if there's a generally held view on round date windows. Generally, "yeah that's nice", or generally, "hmm sometimes", or generally, "only if....", or generally, "OH MY WORD WHY AREN'T THERE MORE OF THEM?!"

I don't like them on Christopher Ward watches

I don't have a strong opinion, but I've noticed more of them when the date is 4:30.

I like them if they are done properly. Especially on Dive watches where the date window is put around 4-4.30 in between markers. Don't know why more companies don't do it this way

I don't mind them, generally. Specifically, they're pretty much the only way I can stomach a date window at 4:30, assuming the date is vertical and not slanted. Like this:

I'm all for round date windows. I find rectangular windows jarring on round watches.

    100% agreement!

as long as it (black on black) matches the dial, like these two do, I like them. it makes the window more discrete in my opinion.

I don't like the two swatches with the contrasting date wheels.
