    Hello and welcome here.
Good to have some new blood, with a fresh passion for the Rado madness.
There is quite a range of Esonics out there, but I'm always hesitant due to problems getting them fixed/serviced.

    Hi Scott,
saw your other response, thank you and i like it here already.

I find the rado dials especially the vintage are just some of the best i have seen. will post my gazelle tomorrow along with the story.

great to be acquainted with you.

As said in my original post. if you have the time and patience, Rob berkavicius in thailand is your man. I might have said australia but its because he is australian.

this was when i first had it..
he cleaned and serviced and repaired my rado as well as re-luming the hands for around $140. i got his details from a guy on instagram who loves his accutrons, it took about 4/5 weeks to send and return.
If i get another ( and i do look) i would send it to him.

maybe to quell your doubts about getting one. :-)

    cheers.

I got a couple of junk items to practice on. I came to the conclusion that if it wasnt a hummer then it wasnt worth repairing. The main bits that go wrong are rare and very expensive if you do find them.
