A lot of the Alpines are pretty small, but the good ones have a ton of charachter and presence.

I'm a particular sucker for the New Green Horse. I have a 50s Longines Conquest being restored that is an echo of this Rado.

Great week Slade, I'm with Scott in choosing your Kriens, we don't often see them and that's quite an unusual dial too. Look forward to seeing your Longines.

Cheers Hank, it's one of those watches that sits firmly in the Goldilocks zone.
As always I'm temped to choose the KonTiki but I'm going with the new kid on the block this week, it's a piece of classic vintage Rado design.

Thanks Tim. I agree that it's a classic Rado design. I never thought I'd be looking for one for a decade but it was worth the wait.

Cheers mate, I searched for a Valjoux 7750 for so long. This one isn't perfect but it wears its scars proudly.
We're both big fans of the Balboa Deluxe and this is a beauty.

I'm not saying I wouldn't happily have a nice new one, but the 70s chronographs look good with a few dings and scrapes.
Cheers mate. I still miss my onyx dialed one, but this one is pretty nice and it's stood in fine stead for the first one.
