Patina appreciate/tarnish disgust day 
So satisfying. But, if you don't like scrubbing, you can literally pour lemon juice on it and watch it get 90% cleaner in 2 minutes https://imgur.com/a/lqIPjJ7
Toothbrush and baking soda finishes it off though.

lemon juice works on battery contact too when you get battery leakage normal use an ear bud with a touch of lemon juice to clean the contacts
